Backflow Repair
BlueLine provides onsite repair support for backflow prevention assemblies that have failed a test, are leaking, or show signs of wear. Whether a device needs a minor adjustment or full replacement, we help identify the problem and get it resolved.
Common reasons for repair
- Device failed annual testing
- Visible leaking from the assembly or relief valve
- Reduced water pressure after the device
- Device was damaged by freezing temperatures
- Corrosion or deterioration of older assemblies
What to expect
A BlueLine technician will assess your assembly onsite and provide an evaluation of the repair needed. Many common backflow issues can be corrected during the same visit. For devices requiring replacement parts or full replacement, we will outline the next steps clearly.
After a failed test
If your backflow preventer failed its annual test, repair and retest must typically be completed within a timeframe set by your local water authority. BlueLine helps you get back into compliance quickly with documented repair and retest service.
Service Scope Notice
BlueLine Backflow specializes in the testing, inspection, and repair of backflow prevention assemblies. In some cases a device may require plumbing modifications, pipe replacement, or valve work that falls outside backflow testing scope. When needed, we can coordinate with local licensed plumbing contractors. Any such work is performed by independent contractors — BlueLine does not supervise or assume responsibility for third-party plumbing work. Customers may hire any licensed plumber of their choosing.
